In an article, Star1 magazine reporter Park Seung Hyun selected best-dressed and worst-dressed idols at the airport so far in 2021. Who are the stars that passed the preference of the editor?

Amid coronavirus, the status of K-pop idols being permitted to have overseas schedules increased. In line with this, Star1, a Seoul-based magazine that specializes in idol lifestyle and fashion. Recently, they revealed the type of airport fashion that caught their attention so far– either in a good or bad way.

In particular, they featured outfits worn by idols that promotes individuality and showcases personality.

K-pop Idols with Best Airport Fashion: MONSTA X I.M, Sunmi, TWICE Momo

Among idols, Sunmi was selected as one of the best-dressed idols at the airport. Particularly, the outfit she wore on her way to Dubai in January.

The female icon paraded her modern long coat, and knit top, giving off a gray-tone chic vibe. She completed her attire with bold-designed boots, balancing her chic yet neat overall look.

Along with him, the editor also named MONSTA X I.M as one of the idols with the best airport fashion 'fit. The male idol particularly flaunted his trendy and manly atmosphere while wearing a black turtleneck, and check-patterned jacket, roughly finishing the look with denim pants.

"I.M's 'boyfriend look' seems to be closer to a date look than an airport look," Park wrote.

Lastly, TWICE Momo also gained attention for her unconventional look during the group's departure to LA for their world tour. The main dancer showed off an all-white fashion which gave off a "rich heiress" (chaebol) vibe.

This outfit may be risky and burdensome, but the editor described Momo's outfit as "perfect fashion" to catch attention at the crowded airport.

Chung Ha, BLACKPINK Jisoo Worst-Dressed? Reason Idols Receive Criticism for Airport Fashion

While there are best-dressed idols, Chung Ha was mentioned in the worst-dressed list.

Airport fashion commonly unleashes the stylish yet comfortable outfits of idols. However, Chung Ha's training ensemble gave an awkward atmosphere. The combination of a cardigan, ball caps, and training suit regrettably does not show any harmony.

Lastly, BLACKPINK Jisoo who appeared at the airport for the first time this 2022 gained huge attention for her hairstyle and unrelenting beauty.  The editor stated that her all-black outfit on her way to France for Paris Fashion week looks "dull" and "tacky," tampering Jisoo's "innocent" atmosphere.
