Oh My Girl Arin was forced to postpone her upcoming schedules for this concerning reason.

Oh My Girl Arin Positive For COVID-19

On Monday, March 14, WM Entertainment announced that Oh My Girl Arin tested positive for COVID-19.

The agency revealed that on Sunday, March 13, Arin tested positive after using an at-home testing kit.

Immediately after, she underwent RT-PCR testing and learned that she was, indeed, positive for the virus.

Following the diagnosis, Oh My Girl self-isolated at home. And WM Entertainment said their main focus is for her to recover fully.

Due to this, all of Arin's upcoming schedules have been postponed. But it's still unclear when they will be rescheduled.

K-pop Idols Who Tested Positive For COVID-19

Arin isn't the first member of Oh My Girl to test positive for COVID-19.

On Jan. 28, Oh My Girl Yubin tested positive for the virus. Less than a month late,r on Feb. 23, Hyojung tested positive for COVID-19. Then, on March 11, Mimi also tested positive for the virus. 

Other K-pop idols outside of Oh My Girl have also been testing positive for COVID-19.

On Saturday, March 12, Brave Entertainment confirmed that three out of the four members of Brave Girls tested positive for COVID-19.

Brave Girls Minyoung, Yujeong, and Eunji are all positive for the virus, and Yuna was the only one whose test result came back negative.

Following her diagnosis, Brave Girls Minyoung shared photos of her self-test kits for COVID-19. She shared that her result came back positive after she used samples from her throat.

But samples taken from her nose gave her a negative test result.

Oh My Girl Arin Talks About Her Personality

In April 2020, Oh My Girl Arin sat down for an interview with Esquire Korea.

During her interview, Arin shared how the change in weather affects her mood. She said that rainy weather makes her feel somber and sunny weather brightens her mood.

Talking about her true personality, Oh My Girl Arin said she's the quiet time. She doesn't like to talk too much and prefers to be alone.

As the maknae of Oh My Girl, fans think she's the cutest and brightest member of the group. But surprisingly, Arin said the descriptions are far from who she really is as a person.

Arin also said she struggles with opening up. She rarely talks about her feelings with her family. And when she first joined Oh My Girl, she couldn't also tell her unnies what she was feeling so they would sometimes get upset.

But over the years, Oh My Girl Arin also learned how to adjust and become more open with other people.
