Top 10 Main Vocalists With 'Honey Voice': BTS Jungkook, TWICE Jihyo, More
Who is the main vocalist idol with voice as sweet as "honey"? In an Idol Champ poll, BTS Jungkook, EXO Baekhyun, TWICE Jihyo and more topped the rankings!
On March 16, the fandom platform, Idol Champ, released the results for the survey they organized under the theme, "Is it voice or honey flowing in my ears, who's the best main vocal?"
The poll was held from February 22 to March 8. Based on the final rankings, BTS Jungkook topped the list of best main vocalists.
BTS Jungkook Named as #1 Main Vocalist with Honey Voice in K-pop
Among the candidates, Jungkook, the "golden maknae" and main vocalist of BTS, topped the chart with 37.95 perfect of the vote.
According to a media outlet, Jungkook earned the modifier "Vocal King" as an all-rounder singer. His voice dominates regardless of genre. He particularly boasts a honey-like voice, which is smooth, sweet, and sincere.
Once you listen to the idol's singing, you do not need to add sugar to your coffee due to its sweetness!

Aside from fans' praises, Jungkook also proved his influence and impact in the music scene. He broke records as a soloist, either on domestic or international chart.
One proof was when he dropped his song, "Stay Alive" on February 11. Following its release, the track immediately entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time in Korea's webtoon OST. It ranked first in the world digital song chart for two consecutive weeks.
In addition, "Stay Alive" recorded 13.6 million cumulative streaming in three days and 24.8 million in seven days. This is the shortest time for a Korean solo song and OST to achieve feats on Spotify.
SEVENTEEN DK, EXO Baekhyun, MORE Enter Top 10 Main Vocalists with Honey Voice
Following Jungkook, SEVENTEEN DK ranked second place with 33.78 percent of votes. As part of the vocal team of the group, DK initially showed off his pleasant singing skills through their group releases.
However, DK gained more recognition for his voice after debuting as a musical actor and his solo songs.
EXO Baekhyun then ranked third place with 16.98 percent of votes. The idol cemented his career through his smooth vocals and earned the titles, "One-Top Solo," "Genius Idol," and "Best-Selling Soloist" based on cumulative album sales in the past 10 years.
Aside from male idols, some female singers including TWICE Jihyo and Red Velvet Wendy also entered the Top 10.
Aside from her high notes, Jihyo is known for her sweet-honey vocals. Wendy also attracted fans for her soothing and velvety voice when singing.
