On March 23, a Korean media outlet issued an exclusive report that says MONSTA X will join the April comeback lineup of K-pop artists.

The report stated that MONSTA X has recently chosen their comeback date in April and that the members are currently busy with the production process of their new album.
The boy group's upcoming album would be their first album in Korea in almost five months since their tenth EP "No Limit" arrived in November of last year.

Shortly after the exclusive report was released, the band's agency Starship Entertainment, told Newsen that MONSTA X's comeback is indeed scheduled in April.
The record label said, "It's true that our artist MONSTA X is preparing for an album release in April. We will notify you with more specific details soon. Please send your love and show anticipation."
MONSTA X officially joins the list of April comebacks this 2022, which includes BIGBANG, EXO Suho, Kwon Eunbi, IVE, and more.

Only five members of the boy group are expected to participate in their upcoming return to the music scene as Shownu is currently carrying out his mandatory military service.

As mentioned above, MONSTA X dropped their new EP "NO LIMIT" in November 2021. "NO LIMIT" is the group's first release without Shownu who enlisted in the military in July 2021.
Moreover, this mini-album is their best-selling work to date. It sold a total of 283,215 copies on the Hanteo Chart just the first week after its release. Notably, it sold over 110,000 copies on the first day alone.
In South Korea, MONSTA X's "NO LIMIT" sold over 409,000 copies by the end of November, the group's fastest album to do so.

In December, MONSTA X dropped another album, this time their second English-language album "The Dreaming" which consists of 10 songs including the title track "You Problem."

Ahead of the release of "The Dreaming," a documentary/concert film "MONSTA X: The Dreaming" was shown in South Korea and seventy other countries across the globe.
From Dec. 13 to 19, MONSTA X was one of the performers at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour. They visited various cities such as Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Miami.

The group was supposed to embark on a US and Canada tour this past January and February, however, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour was first announced in 2020 but it was put off because of the pandemic. It was then pushed back to April to May 2021, but then the tour dates were rescheduled to January and February this year.
MONSTA X's 2022 US/Canada tour is now set to take place in May and June. The US tour will begin on May 21 in New York City and end on June 11 in Los Angeles. Further details are yet to be announced.
