Two years later, he participated in YG Entertainment's reality show "WIN: Who Is Next" as a part of "Team A," which also includes Song Minho, Lee Seunghoon, Kim Jinwoo, and Kang Seungyoon. Team A went on to debut as the company's new boy group, called WINNER, after defeating Team B (most of whose members later debuted as iKON).
Taehyun directly participated in the production of his group's albums since their debut. In particular, he co-composed three songs from the band's debut album "2014 S/S/," which came out in August 2014.

In 2015, WINNER Nam Taehyun made his acting debut while his group was on hiatus. He appeared on the web drama "Midnight Girl." He also played roles in "Late Night Restaurant" and "Under the Black Moonlight" that same year.

In the first quarter of 2016, Nam was active as a K-pop idol and an actor. He participated in his group's comeback on Feb. 1 with their mini-album "Exit: E," and was cast in tvN's "Actor School" in March.
Unfortunately, Nam Taehyun halt his activities in October to receive treatment for mental health issues. After a month, it was announced that he had withdrawn from the group and also terminated his contract with YG Entertainment.

From 2017 to 2021, the former WINNER member was the DJ for the CaspermusicTV radio program "Nam Taehyun's 11pm" every Monday.
