MAMAMOO Confesses True Feelings When Wheein Decided To Leave RBW
MAMAMOO had a heart-to-heart talk on their documentary, "MMM_Where Are We Now." During the broadcast, Hwasa, Solar, and Moonbyul revealed what they really felt when co-member Wheein left their agency RBW.
In the original MAMAMOO documentary "MMM_Where are we now," which was released through Wavve, the members' honest feelings about Wheein were conveyed.
MAMAMOO Reveals Heartbreak After Wheein's Decision to Leave RBW
In the broadcast, the members began to shed tears one by one at a time when they candidly talk about the past.
Regarding Wheein's transfer, Solar expressed her disappointment, saying:
"Wouldn't it be better to keep the name (MAMAMOO) together?"
Moon Byul also calmly asked:
"But is this the end?"

Among them, Hwasa was the closest friend of Wheein. They we're friends since middle school. She confessed that she felt a variety of emotions after learning the news.
"I understand Wheein's feelings. I agree. I can't even say this. It's just... It's just heartbreaking. Whenever I think about Wheein, I cry. Even after work, when I came home, I cried a lot because of her.
I'm upset. I'm angry, but I'm heartbroken and worried at the same time. We've been together since we were young, so I really wish for Wheein's happiness wherever she goes. I think that's all."
Wheein and the members then shed tears at Hwasa's sincere appearance.

In particular, MAMAMOO which celebrated its 7th debut anniversary last year was also met with sad news after Wheein decided to move to a new nest in August.

Wheein, who wiped her tears at the honest story of her co-members, focused her eyes on the screen where her story continued.
"Actually, I've achieved a lot while I am promoting with MAMAMOO. I also received so much love, won first place, had sold-out concerts, so I think I want to be happy rather than greedy to enjoy it."
Wheein highlighted how she wants to experience new challenges, apart from being in a group. In June 2021, RBW issued an official statement that the "Water Color" singer did not renew her contract with them.
As a result, she moved to her new nest THE L1VE, a label founded by Ravi on August 31 to pursue her solo career.
In the case of what will happen to MAMAMOO, Wheein decided to continue her group activities including album and concert participation, at least until 2023.
