Apart from Korean brands, these K-pop stars Kang Daniel, EXO Kai, SNSD Yoona, and more are also ambassadors for global brands. But among them, who is the most worthy for the title "Human luxury goods"? 

On March 29, Forbes Korea x Idol Champ released the survey results for "Who is the best global brand ambassador?" 

In particular, the poll held from February 25 to March 10 was organized to determine idols who are, aside from global recognition, possess the power to encompass the MZ generation as ambassadors for global luxury brands.

Kang Daniel Selected as Best Ambassador for Global Luxury Brand in K-pop

In this vote, the neck-and-neck race between the first and second places was spectacular.

But in the end, Kang Daniel won the final title with 12,377 votes or 34.64% of the total votes!

So far, this is the third award the "PARANOIA" singer has won from Forbes Korea following gaining the title "All-rounder Idol" and the trophy for "1st FKA Men's Category."

Kang Daniel has been active as an ambassador for various global fashion beauty brands since 2019, such as Givenchy Beauty.

Daniel broke the beauty stereotypes by wearing red lipstick on his photoshoot, proving that cosmetic products are for males as well.

Currently, he is the ambassador for skincare brand BioHeal BOH.

Trailing behind Kang Daniel is EXO Kai who received 9,901 votes or 27.72%.

In 2018, the "Mmmh" singer was selected as Gucci Korea Ambassador. Since then, he became the luxury brand's Eyewear Ambassador as well in 2019. He proved that he's really "Human Gucci" after being named as the brand's Global Ambassador in 2020. In that year, he released the " Kai x Gucci" capsule collection, for the first time in Korea.

In third place is MONSTA X Shownu who received 12.99% of the votes (4,642).

In 2020, the visual idol was introduced as the first Korean muse for Italian luxury brand Moschino perfume.

The top 10 were then dominated by male idols, except BLACKPINK Rosé who secured No. 9. Currently, the "Gone" singer is the global ambassador for Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co.

Among female idols, Red Velvet Seulgi, IU and SNSD Yoona entered the Top 16.

Yoona proved her "Global luxury brand ambassador Queen" as the representative of brands Eider, Michael Kors, Estee Lauder, Pandora, among others through the years.

In 2021, Yoona was selected as the global ambassador for the Italian Luxury brand Miu Miu.
