It has been over a year and a half since BLACKPINK made a comeback, and BLINKs (BLACKPINK's fandom) continue to clamor for the girl's return to the music industry.

There have been several hints over the few months concerning their potential comeback, such as Jennie stating the girls are preparing new music on "The Game Caterers 2" and Jeon Somi accidentally leaking a song with Jennie's voice on Instagram.

However, it was recently revealed that YG Entertainment, the company BLACKPINK is signed under, has sold the demos BLACKPINK recorded while they were trainees.

On April 17, Jisoo talked to BLINKs on Weverse and hinted at a comeback. While she was talking to fans about her hopes to return to the stage soon, Chinese idol Zhou Ziqian was on Instagram Live and she revealed information that fans of BLACKPINK did not know about their pre-debut era.

While on Instagram Live, Zhou Ziqian revealed that the girls created songs for YG Entertainment before debuting. These songs are demos and were never officially released.

During the live stream, Zhou Ziqian played excerpts from the songs. Listening closely, internet users can clearly hear the voice of three BLACKPINK members. Specifically, you can hear the voices of Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa singing and rapping on the demos.

When asked about how she was able to retrieve these demos, Zhou Ziqian revealed that YG Entertainment sold the copyrights of the demos and her manager bought them.

As of writing, YG Entertainment has not released a statement on the matter.
