6 K-Pop Songs That Don't Have Rap Verses But Are Just as Good

One of the unique things about K-Pop that makes it different from other genres is how it mixes vocals and rap in its songs. Hence, why there is a vocal line and rap line in most groups. However, some K-Pop songs don't include rap verses, but that doesn't mean that they aren't just as good as other songs.

With that, here are six K-Pop songs, from ENHYPEN to BLACKPINK's Rosé, that don't have rap verses!

1. ENHYPEN - 'Given-Taken'

Did you know that ENHYPEN technically doesn't have any positions within their group? So everyone is a vocalist! "Given-Taken," which was released back in 2020 as the group's debut track, cemented ENHYPEN's position in the industry as one of the top performing fourth-generation groups. This song just showcased their smooth vocals, in addition to the addicting melody!

2. SEVENTEEN - 'Don't Wanna Cry'

Who said rappers can't sing? SEVENTEEN proved just how talented and versatile they are by releasing "Don't Wanna Cry," which is arguably one of the most popular song by the group. SEVENTEEN focused more on making the song lighthearted yet upbeat by incorporating elements of electropop and EDM,. They showcased more of the members' stable vocals.

3. Oh My Girl - 'Windy Day'

Want a song that exudes spring vibes that doesn't have rap? Oh My Girl's "Windy Day" is the perfect song! Released in 2016, "Windy Day" is a very quirky and upbeat song that showed off the members' youthful vocals. It proves that songs don't always need rap verses to make it fun!

4. EXO - 'Universe'

The EXO members ditched their slick rap and went for something more sentimental that truly touched fans' hearts. Released in 2017, EXO's "Universe" is a rock ballad that talks about how one person will search the universe for their lover. So when she released "On The Ground," it definitely flipped the K-Pop community! Rosé's "On The Ground" proved why she's the main vocalist of BLACKPINK in this cool English single!
