Sunmi Clarifies Misunderstanding After Allegedly Lying to Reporters During Personal Travel
Recently on April 27, "Gashina" hitmaker Sunmi took to her Instagram Story to share a screenshot of a certain article of her arriving at the airport.
In the screenshot she shared, Sunmi can be seen wearing casual and comfortable clothing as she walks through the airport.

However, the article that Sunmi highlighted alleged that the singer had lied to reporters to evade them at the airport on that day. And based on the title of the article, it claimed that Sunmi got away from the reporters by ridiculing them with a lie.
It was also said that the reporters had been waiting for Sunmi's arrival at the airport after seeing her manager, but she did not show up at the promised place they claimed she was going to be. Instead, Sunmi had reportedly come out from another gate and disappeared "as if running away."
In addition, it was also pointed out in the article that most celebrities arriving and departing from the airport would wear clothing sponsored by fashion brands, and that celebrities would pose for the reporters.

However, the article states that Sunmi behaved "differently than the usual." It also compared the recent photo of Sunmi with another photo of her at the airport from the past, noting that she looked very different from when she is wearing and not wearing sponsored clothing.
In her Instagram Story screenshot, Sunmi then took the time to include a caption to explain the situation that happened at the airport and clarify the misunderstanding.
In her caption, Sunmi said, "Actually, I didn't know that there would be reporters [at the airport] because it was my personal schedule. I was with my younger brothers without my manager, and it seems like my manager and my brothers were not able to communicate from inside and outside the gate."

Sunmi added, "I am so sorry. I have always shown a bright appearance at the airport, but I was so embarrassed that day."
Regarding the photo on the right in the article she shared, Sunmi reveals that she wasn't wearing any sponsored items that day, as she did not expect any reporters to be there during her arrival at the airport while on a personal schedule.
