Who is 2PM Wooyoung?
Jang Wooyoung, more commonly known as just Wooyoung, is a South Korean singer and a member of the JYP Entertainment-formed six-member boy group, 2PM. Wooyoung made his debut as the main dancer and lead vocalist of the group back in August of 2008.
As a member of 2PM, he is one of the six members of the group who auditioned to become a trainee under JYP Entertainment. The group originally featured a total of seven members.

1. Wooyoung is sensitive.

Wooyoung often shows a witty and funny personality whenever he is on camera, and can be described as somewhat the "class clown" of the group. However, he is actually someone who is serious and sensitive. According to his fellow members, they would even give Wooyoung some ice cream from time to time, so that they could anticipate his emotions whenever he is watching a sad drama or movie.

Believe it or not, Wooyoung actually participated in an audition to be in the JYP Entertainment girl group, Wonder Girls! The idol had revealed that he was 100 percent certain he would fail the auditions for the girl group, but he decided to continue with the audition in the hopes of catching the eyes of JYP Entertainment's casting scouts.
As Wooyoung had his heart set on joining the agency, it didn't matter to him who JYP Entertainment was looking for at that time of the auditions. But of course, he immediately failed once the scouts saw him. Despite this, he didn't give up and auditioned for the agency every six months until he won against 5,000 other candidates.

3. Wooyoung trained actress Kim Gyu Ri in dancing.

Wooyoung isn't the main dancer of 2PM for nothing. In fact, he was a dancing major when he was a student at the Seoul School for Arts. With his experience in dancing, he became a trainer for actress Kim Gyu Ri, where he helped in one of her performances for MBC's "Dancing With the Stars."
4. Wooyoung is an actor.

Back in 2011, Wooyoung made his debut as an actor with the popular KBS drama "Dream High," in which he enlisted the help of fellow 2PM members Nickhun and Taecyeon to help him with his English lines due to his Korean-American character. Although he has expressed wanting to continue his acting career, his last acting project was back in 2013 with "The Miracle."

5. Wooyoung was on 'We Got Married'.

"We Got Married" was one of the most popular reality variety shows in South Korea, which revolves around pairing up celebrities who pretend to be married couples and do various challenges together. For the fourth season, Wooyoung participated on the show and was "married" to actress Park Se Young. They starred in the show from January to September 2014.
