On April 29, IVE took home their sixth music show win for "LOVE DIVE," beating out BIGBANG with "Still Life" on "Music Bank." Though IVE did not perform on the program that day, the girls still took home the win. As Jang Wonyoung is the MC of the music program, she accepted the trophy for the group.

Earlier that day, Jang Wonyoung stated that if IVE were to win on "Music Bank," she would put her heart into a sketchbook. When the encore stage began, Jang Wonyoung passed the microphone to fellow MC Sunghoon of ENHYPEN. She then rushed to staff members by the stage to retrieve her sketchbook.

She then proceeded to show the sketchbook contents, slowly flipping through the pages one by one. She flipped through the pages in silence, and the encore stage ended.

The idol did not sing a single line from the song. Jang Wonyoung is drawing criticisms for her actions, with people saying she could have sung in between page flips.
People believe the female idol purposely chose not to sing, using the sketchbook as an excuse to avoid singing live.

Jang Wonyoung was compared to several artists, such as TWICE. TWICE has continuously been criticized for their encore stage, with people saying they avoid their lines or cannot sing live. They have also been accused of avoiding the encore stage by inhaling helium or eating ice. However, TWICE earned praise for holding the mic and singing when necessary.

Others compared her to Kang Daniel, who once avoided the encore stage by eating fish-shaped pancakes on stage. Some called Jang Wonyoung the "Female Kang Daniel."

Following the "Music Bank" encore stage, Jang Wonyoung is being compared to her co-member, Ahn Yujin.

Back in January 2022, IVE won their ninth music show win for "ELEVEN' on "Inkigayo." At the time, Ahn Yujin was the MC of the music program. She accepted the victory for her group and performed on the encore stage. Though she was joined by her fellow MCs, NCT Sungchan and TREASURE Jihoon, she sang alone.
