In the book, Rachel is seen speaking with her fellow eight members. She revealed that she refuses to stop her fashion line and will not quit the group. The different members have different reactions; some are relieved, some are sympathetic, while two members are visibly annoyed.

After being ridiculed for not taking the group's concerns into account, Rachel states that she took all their concerns into account. However, she loves both things too much to let them go. She adds that she has always been dedicated to the book and has done her best not to let the members down.

The excerpts reveal that the girls were preparing for concerts in Los Angeles, with a member calling Rachel out for waltzing in whenever she wanted while the other members showed up on time. Rachel fights back, pointing out that the member had missed several appearances due to a movie filming.

The situation is shrugged off as the members decide to practice for the concerts rather than argue. However, their CEO tells Rachel the next day that the eight members of Girls Forever (the girl group she is in) approached him and said her fashion line blindsided them. The members revealed they did not want to perform in the LA concerts if Rachel was going, which led to her being kicked out of the group.
