Rising to the top to take over as the No. 1 most popular girl group member this month is BLACKPINK member Jennie!

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, Jennie had garnered a brand reputation index of 3,850,732, along with a participation index of 251,684, a media index of 365,187, a communication index of 1,293,899, and a community index of 1,939,963

For the month of May, Jennie's brand reputation index saw a decrease of 1.04 percent compared to her index of 3,891,015 back in April.

When it comes to Jennie's related terms, the "SOLO" singer's highest-ranking related terms are "perfect," "sexy," and "bold." While her highest-ranking phrases for keyword analysis include "Instagram," "fashion," and "bikini."

As for Jennie's positive-negative ratio, the BLACKPINK member has a positive ratio of 73.04 percent..

WJSN Bona, MAMAMOO Hwasa in Top 3 Most Popular Girl Group Members in May 2022

Maintaining her spot as the second most popular girl group member this month is WJSN's Bona!

For the month of May, the idol-actress had garnered a total brand reputation index of 3,385,296. This includes a participation index of 939,651, a media index of 979,291, a communication index of 526,473, and a community index of 939,880.

Compared to the Bona's brand reputation index of 3,701,519 garnered in April, Bona saw a rise of 4.03 percent in her index this month.

Lastly, MAMAMOO member Hwasa shot up in the ranks to round off the top three and following behind Jennie and Bona.

According to the Korean Business Research Institute, Hwasa's brand reputation index for this month is 2,481,278, with a participation index of 176,787, a media index of 106,354, a communication index of 853,240, and a community index of 1,344,896.

Hwasa's index rose by 190.75 percent compared to her brand reputation index of 1,164,349 in April.

The brand reputation rankings is based on the total reputation index of girl group members through the analysis of consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community indexes from the big data gathered from April 15 to May 15.

The big data gathered for May 2022 is 97,956,890, which is a decrease of 3.76 percent from the big data of 101,782,322 accumulated back in April.
