BTS J-Hope, TXT to Join Lollapalooza 2022 Lineup
On June 8 KST, Lollapalooza announced through their social media the latest lineup for this year's annual music festival, which is set to be held at the Grant Park in Chicago.
According to Lollapalooza's lineup, Big Hit Music labelmates BTS' J-Hope and TXT (also known as Tomorrow X Together), will be headlining the highly-anticipated music festival.
TXT is slated to join the lineup on Saturday, July 30 local time, for the Solana X Perry's stage, where they will be performing from 7:45pm to 8:30pm as the second to the last act of the night.

The five-piece boy group would be joining other big names in the industry, such as Kygo, Kaskade, Big Sean, J.Cole, Turnstile, Wallows, Idles, and more.
As for J-Hope, the rapper would be headlining the Sunday, July 31 night, along well-known artists such Charli XCX, Green Day, The Kid LAROI, Jane's Addiction, and more.
Not only would J-Hope be one of the main performers for the festival, but he would also be the closing act at the Bud Light Seltzer stage following The Kid LAROI, where he would be ending the night with a bang from 9pm to 10pm.

This year's Lollapalooza would be a new milestone for the two K-Pop artists. As J-Hope would be the first ever South Korean artist to headline a main stage at any major music festival in the United States, while this marks TXT's first ever performance at an American music festival.

Meanwhile, Lollapalooza 2022 is a music festival held in a span of four days. This year, more than 170 acts will be performing across eight stages. Other acts in the mix include Måneskin, Dua Lipa, Metallica, Lil Baby, Machine Gun Kelly, Glass Animals, Jazmine Sullivan, Don Toliver, and more.

Meanwhile, J-Hope recently returned from Washington in the United States, after BTS was invited to the White House to discuss anti-Asian hate crimes and discrimination, as well as celebrate the Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage month with President Joe Biden.
While fourth generation group TXT recently made their comeback with their fourth mini album "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" back in May of this year.
