An insider told Daily Sports, "I've seen them tackle music on numerous occasions. They go on dates like any other couple in their twenties, making everyone around them envious of their relationship."
Another source in the music industry said, "They don't mind others, and openly show their affection for one another. They appear to be firmly and happily dating. This is widely known among rappers."

SM Entertainment quickly denied the dating rumors, clarifying that SNSD Tiffany and GRAY are simply close friends and are not in a relationship.
AOMG also released an official statement, stating that they have confirmed with GRAY personally, and it is true that they are only close colleagues.

After SM Entertainment and AOMG issued a statement, the dating rumors gradually died down. However, it resurfaced in August after fans noticed Tiffany's recent activity on Instagram.

More than a year since SNSD Tiffany and GRAY were reported to be dating, the two K-pop stars were once again the main subjects of dating news in July 2017.
