A man was caught in a picture of the famous girl group member Red Velvet Joy – but something's not right.

On June 10, a photo of Joy on her way home from the SBS show, "TV Animal Farm" on the 8th captured the attention of K-pop enthusiasts and internet users for a creepy reason.

In particular, Joy's DC Gallery account posted the photo with the caption, "Sunny like the early summer sunshine."

The photo shows Joy visiting the SBS station in Mokdong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, in the afternoon of the same day. Just then, the "Queendom" singer was caught by a camera by an iMBC reporter who came to cover the scene where Joy greeted the media on her way home from work after recording the broadcast.

Wearing a light dress, she showed off her various charms with a fresh expression and a lively pose. When the photo was released, many netizens admired Joy's bright beauty; however, some were extremely surprised.

It's because of a man who was filmed behind Joy. The man in the suit was walking while on his phone, but the creepy detail was there was no head.

Netizens who noticed this immediately responded by saying:

"Where's the male head?"

 "I thought it was a ghost."

"It's broad daylight but it's creepy to see this."

On the other hand, netizens who analyzed the photo explained:

"Did you delete it (his head) to protect the portrait rights?"

"I think you deleted it to cover his face with a photoshop."

Apparently, the photographer of the post edited the photo to cover the face of the civilian but instead of blurring it, they deleted his head entirely.

Amid scared netizens, one internet user turned the incident into black comedy and commented:

"K-office worker who has to go to work even without a head, no matter what."

As of June 11, the post containing the photo has been retweeted a total of 311 times on Twitter, and it spread to other social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram as well as on online communities.

Red Velvet Joy 2022: Here Are Latest Status of Idol, Actress

Aside from her broadcasts, Joy is currently active both as an idol and actress.

In fact, Red Velvet, which includes Joy, will take the stage at the 28th Dream Concert at the main stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex in Seoul on June 18.

The quintet will join other popular K-pop acts such as NCT Dream, STAYC, Dreamcatcher, and more.

In regards to her activity as an actress, Joy was announced in May to star in the new Kakao TV's "Accidental Country Diary" set to air in the second half of 2022.
