Who is the prettiest member? Which member is the best at singing? In a show together with ITZY, TWICE Nayeon revealed her first impression of her junior idols back when they were still trainees.

TWICE Nayeon and ITZY showed the warm combination of JYP Entertainment's seniors and juniors!

On June 27, Nayeon who embarked on her solo career with a self-titled debut mini-album appeared in season 2 of Naver NOW's "Gap of ITZY," a show hosted by the quintet.

In the broadcast, the junior group welcomed Nayeon enthusiastically. Yeji confessed that she felt honored after hearing that Nayeon herself reached out to them to appear in the broadcast to promote her solo.

Nayeon explained that she's not typically the kind of person who wants to get closer to someone, but ITZY is an exception. The idol-soloist said:

"I don't think there will be many opportunities like this, so I really want to come out. So I somehow made a 'gap' in my schedule."

As the idols became more comfortable with each other, Nayeon then revealed her first impression of the ITZY members and vice versa.

Starting with Yeji, the "POP!" singer said:

"I remember seeing you first on a broadcast program ('The Fan'). When (I first saw you), I thought, 'she's really from JYP'."

As for Lia, she said:

"I've met Lia at the company building before. I heard that she has long hair and she was the best at singing in the ITZY debut team."

Nayeon then praised Yujin's appearance, saying:

"When she first joined our agency as a trainee, I remembered she had longer hair back then, it's black and a little tanned.

Ryujin was really pretty and we talked about which celebrity she looked like."

The idol went on with her first impression of Chaeryeong, recalling:

"I have a lot of memories with Chaeryeong because we practiced together a lot."

Lastly, Yuna, who shared the same nickname with Nayeon which is "JYP's rabbit," was described by the latter as:

"I remember Yuna came to the practice room to say hello just before her debut."

ITZY Shares First Impression of TWICE Nayeon

As the broadcast went on, ITZY members also expressed their first impression to Nayeon and said:

"Unnie's bare face was really pretty. Her skin is so clear. The dance line is also my favorite, so I always looked at unnie a lot." (Chaeryeong)

"I remember unnie braiding her black hair to one side and wearing a skirt and a jean jacket. She was singing, and I thought 'She's indeed a celebrity." (Ryujin)

TWICE Nayeon released her first solo album, "IM NAYEON," and the title track, "POP!". As of June 28, the MV already surpassed 36 million views on YouTube.

ITZY will also release its new mini-album "CHECKMATE" at 1 p.m. on July 15 (KST). Following their much-awaited comeback as "Fourth-Gen K-pop Queens" ITZY will expand their activities beyond Korea with their first world tour in August.
