UNIVERSE, '2022 UNI-KON' is Over! K-pop Festival with 3.8 Million People from 200 Countries

 "2022 Unicorn" heated up the hearts of K-pop fans around the world.

NCsoft Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Taek-jin, NC) and Klopp Klopp Co., Ltd. (Clap) said on July 4, "The 2022 UNI-KON (Unicorn), which was held for two days on the 2nd and 3rd, was successfully completed with 3.8 million K-pop fans from 200 countries around the world."

The 2022 UNI-KON was held by the global fandom platform UNIVERSE and is a joint K-POP concert with 20 teams of artists participating in the UNIVERSE. Following the online hosting in February last year, this year, it opened the door to the universe by simultaneously hosting online free live broadcasts and offline at the SK Olympic Handball Stadium in Olympic Park.

On July 2 (Sat), artists YOUNGITE, GHOST9, Weki Meki, WEi, PARK JIHOON, WONHO, ASTRO, IVE, WJSN, and THE BOYZ announced the 10th stage of the relay festival.

On the July 3 (Sun), artists CRAVITY, LIGHTTSUM, EPEX, Choi Ye-na, DRIPPIN, CIX, KEP1ER, JO YURI, SF9 (SF9), and ATEEZ performed the 10th performance of the artist festival.

In particular, UNIVERSE MUSIC's previously released "WEi Van Gogh's Night" (prod. dress), "Park Ji-hoon Call Up (Feat. Lee Hi)" (Prod. Primary), "Let Me In", "CRAVITY VIVID", "CRAVITY" and "PRODUCE X" on-site performance.

On this day, the group "IV" said, "I'm meeting you through radio, board, and private messages on the Universe, and it's nice to meet you in person through the unicorn today," and "THE BOYZ performed on the unicorn stage this year following last year." I am happy to meet my fans closely through offline performances," he said, expressing his special feelings.

In addition, Universe provided a variety of things to see and enjoy, including unicorn photo card presentation events, at offline sites for two days, providing fresh enjoyment to fans. Various online communities and SNS also received enthusiastic responses. On Twitter's real-time trend, it ranked first and second in Korea and music trend keywords such as "Universe," "NOW_2022_UNI_KON," and "Unicon Photo Card," drawing attention day after day.

Meanwhile, "2022 Unicorn (UNI-KON)" was carried out simultaneously online and offline, giving impression. In the future, various VODs such as concert full version videos and stage videos by song will be released sequentially on the app.
