A week after BTS announced their indefinite hiatus from group activities to focus on solo promotions, the group's youngest member Jungkook treated fans to a collaboration song with American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth.
On June 24, Charlie Puth dropped his latest single "Left and Right" featuring Jungkook, accompanied by a fun music video. Following its release, BTS fans, ARMYs, got to work in digging deeper behind the meaning of the music video and song.

"Left and Right" clearly had a storyline, depicting Charlie Puth struggling to get someone out of his head, even resorting to paying a "Love Doctor" a visit. However, as Jungkook was the only other person in the music video, many fans couldn't help but wonder if the video's storyline represents a relationship between the two men.
Numerous fans shared some of their theories, which includes Jungkook being the one Charlie Puth hears and sees everywhere he goes, that's why he suddenly "panics" when seeing Jungkook at the love doctor's office. Some fans also theorize that Charlie Puth was having an "identity crisis."

Not only that, but the song was released in June, which is the celebration of Pride Month. So naturally, this made fans more curious about the meaning behind Jungkook and Charlie Puth's relationship in the music video.

But recently, on July 3, it seems that Charlie Puth has finally confirmed fans' speculations! Over on his Instagram Stories, the American singer reposted a comment from the song's music video on Youtube.
In the comment he shared, Charlie Puth added two emojis next to the portion highlighting the theory of two guys occupying each others' minds.

The portion of the comment he highlighted said, "Since no one else is pictured besides the two, the assumption is that the two guys are occupying each [others'] minds, which I think is great!"
Thus, by sharing the comment, Charlie Puth has confirmed the fans' theory! And now that he has, numerous fans couldn't help but appreciate the song and music video even more!
