Although there's no exact date yet, SONEs are already getting ready for Girls' Generation's comeback, which will take place in celebration of their 15th anniversary. SM Entertainment has officially announced the group's return on May 17 after a series of reports and rumors.

According to band member Sooyoung, Girls' Generation will drop a new studio album in August. This album will be their first group release in five years since their sixth studio album "Holiday Night" came out in August 2017. There's a rumor that the album will drop on Aug. 8.
Since their debut, Girls' Generation have released songs that instantly become global hits. "Holiday," "PARTY," and "Lion Heart" are just a few of the group's summer bops.

BLACKPINK's comeback has also been confirmed to be scheduled in August. It will mark the quartet's first group activity in one year and ten months since their first full-length album "THE ALBUM," arrived in October 2020.
Following YG Entertainment's official announcement, BLINKs couldn't help but rejoice on social media as they have been waiting for Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé for a while now. In fact, several hashtags and keywords started trending on Twitter after the band's return was revealed, such as "BLACKPINK," "#BLACKPINKCOMEBACK," "#BLACKPINK," and "FINALLY FINALLY."

As mentioned above, Girls' Generation comeback is rumored to take place on Aug. 8. Coincidentally, Aug. 8 is an important day for BLACKPINK as it is the day of their debut and their sixth anniversary in the music industry.
Meanwhile, no one can deny that every song BLACKPINK released in the past has taken the world by storm, including "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "Kill This Love," "How You Like That," and more.
TWICE Comeback in August 2022

Finally, TWICE is projected to return to the K-pop scene in August as well. On May 16, the nonet teased that something is coming on Aug. 26, which many fans believe to be their comeback date. The announcement also included the date June 24, which turned out to be Nayeon's solo debut.

TWICE's latest comeback took place in November of last year with their third Korean studio album "Formula of Love," meaning it has been eight months since the group dropped new music. While no official announcement has come from SM Entertainment to date, some ReVeluvs are hoping that Red Velvet will make an August comeback as well.
During their online press conference this past March, Joy teased that Red Velvet has other comebacks ahead this year and added that they want to become "queens of all seasons." Considering her remarks, Joy hinted at the girl group's comeback during the summer, autumn, and winter seasons.
