TWICE Contract Renewal: Members Share Messages to ONCEs via SNS

On July 12, JYP Entertainment announced that:

"TWICE has renewed its contract with all members ahead of the expiration of its exclusive contract this fall."

Accordingly, the main reason why the group decided to renew their contracts as a group with JYP is due to the strong relationship of trust between the members.

"TWICE, who played a decisive role in establishing the status of JYP, a K-pop entertainment company, and JYP, who became a strong support for TWICE's growth into a representative K-pop girl group, are confident in a more developed future based on this trust. We have agreed to renew the contract.”

Through this contract renewal, the artists and agency are expected to maintain a strong and close relationship bonded by loyalty. It is also likely that JYP will continuously provide full support for TWICE to grow as a top global girl group.

On the same day, the "FANCY" singers also delivered the good news directly to fans through their respective social media platforms.

In the fandom-communicating platform Bubble, Sana greeted ONCEs and said:

"Hurry and wake up I have good news. Go to Naver and then look at my IG story."

Chaeyoung also wrote:

"TWICE forever. The articles came out. We all renewed together, all 9 of us."

Jeongyeon also conveyed her real feelings about renewing, which warmed fans' hearts.

"It might be a bit embarrassing to say this in the morning, but we have renewed the contract officially. I really don't want to leave (the group) because the members are so precious, and I don't want to lose them because they're more precious than my family. We'll be together for a long time."

The members, including Chaeyoung, Sana, Momo and Jeongyeon also took to Instagram to post photos of the nine-member group along with the caption, "9WICE."

ONCEs React About TWICE Contract Renewal News

On top of the members, ONCE (fandom of TWICE) is the happiest about the group's contract renewal. In particular, they celebrated on Twitter and held a hashtag party and trend with the phrases #FOREVERTWICE, #ThankYouTWICE and "TWICE FOREVER."

On the platform, fans expressed how happy they were that the "SCIENTIST" singers overcame the "7-Year Curse" of K-pop. This is after the initial rumors that TWICE will not renew with JYP, disband and go separate ways.

But the group proved their strong desire to continue the second act of their career as a TWICE.
