SHINee Taemin Spotted Watching K-League Match Against Tottenham
On July 13, an internet user's post on Twitter drew massive attention after reporting on SHINee Taemin's current whereabouts amid his military service.
In the post, the netizen wrote:
"I saw Taemin...I went to watch a K-League match against Tottenham... I was standing in line at the kiosk, and there was someone I saw that looked like Kwonho on the front line, but I was surprised when I saw someone in a blue blouse and black shorts, and ivory? White? Slippers. It turned out it's Taemin."
The netizen then went on to describe Taemin's recent appearance, saying:
"His eyelashes were really long. Her skin was also fair, and her eyes were like stars. As soon as I saw him, I wondered why a 'deer' (people with big, round, sparkling eyes) was there. He has a nose and eyes that stand out so much among the general public, so I recognized him."

The author also hinted at Taemin's true personality and narrated:
"Taemin was standing with Kwonho but it suddenly got crowded that the latter fell behind. But Taemin kept looking back at him. When Taemin was about to order, Kwonho asked, 'Won't it be too hard to lift it all alone?' Taemin turn around and smiled with his eyes."
In the published photo, a man presumed to be Taemin was seen wearing a black mask and choosing snacks at the kiosk.
It was later confirmed to be Taemin when Kwonho, his best friend known to have accompanied the singer, filmed at the stadium and posted it on his Instagram story.
Although he didn't share any photos of the male idol, fans recognized that the voice caught from the background belonged to Taemin.
SHINee Taemin's Military Discharge Date Revealed

Meanwhile, Taemin, who enlisted on active duty on May 31 last year, initially served in the Ministry of National Defense Services military band.
But on January 14, he was transferred from the military band to the public service division.
Regarding this, the agency stated:
"Taemin continued to receive treatment and counseling while serving in the military due to symptoms of depression and panic disorder that he had suffered from before.
However, his symptoms worsened, making the Military Manpower Administration decide that treating him while serving active duty was no longer possible.
As a result, he was transferred to a supplementary station.”

Initially, he was set to be discharged on November 30, 2022, but according to Top Star News:
"Taemin's discharge date is scheduled for March 2, 2023, not November 30."
His service period was extended after being converted to a public social worker.
