On July 22, ADOR, the HYBE's sub-label led by CBO Min Hee Jin, unveiled the details about the debut of its new girl group.

On that day, the debut MV for its track, "Attention," was uploaded on its official YouTube channel, gaining attention from the public.

Launching the much-anticipated girl group's MV before its official debut, internet users and K-pop enthusiasts are already showing enthusiastic responses.

The members' profile photos released on NewJeans' official website gained the attention of viewers the most. In the photos, five members were introduced, including Hani, Minji, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.

Although their official profiles have not yet been officially dropped, netizens' curiosity is amplified. As a result, here are what we know about the group so far:

Hani

Among them, Hani is known as a Vietnamese nationality. He is a 04-liner trainee under ADOR and is said to be 17 or 18 years old.

Minji

Minji is also a 04-liner ADOR trainee and is a South Korean. Before her debut, her face became familiar among K-pop fans after her appearance on BTS's "Permission To Dance" MV.

Danielle

Danielle Marsh, also known as Mo Ji Hye, is a 05-liner born to an Australian father and a Korean mother. Top Star News says her nationality is Korean, although her internet profile says she was born in Australia.

Her first appearance in the entertainment scene was when she appeared on tVN's reality show, "Rainbow Kindergarten" in 2011.

Haerin

The information about Haerin is limited, but she is also a South Korean.

Hyein

Born in 2008, Hyein is believed to be the youngest among members. Other than her current name, she became first known in the music scene as U.Jeong, following her initial debut in the kids' girl group USSO.GIRL in 2017, launched by Kids Planet.

Following their first content release with "Attention," NewJeans is set to officially mark its entry into the K-pop scene with the release of its self-titled debut EP next month.

In particular, the album will be comprised of three title tracks, namely, "Attention," "Hypeboy" and "Cookie," which music videos will be released on July 22, July 23, and August 1, respectively.

The self-titled EP will also consist of a b-sidetrack, "Hurt," which MV will be dropped on July 25. Ultimately, the first EP, "NewJeans" will be unveiled on August 8.

In regards to the girl group, Min Hee Jin introduced them as:

"New Jeans contains the ambition and determination to become an icon of the times like jeans that you find every day, and you can't get tired of wearing them anytime."
