Ahead of the debut of NewJeans, HYBE's CEO Min Hee Jin gets embroiled in suspicions of sexualizing minors and glamorizing "p*dophilia." Accusations began when an article, "Min Hee Jin seems to be a p*dophile," was posted on an online forum.

The writer claimed:
"Min Hee Jin recently released a picture of the studio and her room through her personal Instagram, and a half-naked picture of a minor girl was posted."
In fact, the room Min Hee Jin recently shared on her Instagram included a picture of a blonde girl staring at one place with her top off and a girl exposing her bottom as if she had lifted one of her dresses.
Following this, more people agreed to the accusations and claimed that she, who is in charge of NewJeans' debut, seemed to sexualize the members as well.

One "proof" is NewJeans Minji (18), who wore a crop top with the phrase "PIMP Is Yours."
The term "Pimp" means "a male prostitution broker."
People also pointed out that the members' 'fits are "too mature" for their age when the youngest is only 14 years old.
Not only this, but when fans looked at the album's contents where ID cards were included per member, they found a photo of Danielle (17) that resembles the character of Mathilda from the movie, "Léon."
The film, released in 1994, caused controversy over "p*dophilia."
With the ongoing controversy, people are expressing belligerent reactions against the CEO through Twitter and Min Hee Jin's personal Instagram, saying:
- "You have to protect the girls."
- "It's really disgusting."
- "Don't touch these children."
- "Totally pedophile taste."

Min Hee Jin's Past 'P*dophilic' Concepts Resurface
Amid this controversy, fans added that Min Hee Jin's alleged obsession with "minors" is alarming.
One example was when she talked about her feelings working with 14-year-old Hyein and started commenting about her "innocence" and wanting to "bathe in her refreshing energy."
But K-pop fans pointed out that this is not the first time Min Hee Jin made "pedophilic" comments and was criticized for her alleged "sexualized" concepts.

When she was still working under SM Entertainment, people pointed out how she made 15-year-old Brooklyn Shields as f(x) Krystal's muse. They also recalled Min Hee Jin doing sexy concepts for SHINee Taemin and NCT Dream Jisung when they were still minors.
The former creative director is also the person behind the "Lolita" concept of Red Velvet's "Red Flavor," a movie that glamorized "p*dophilia." At that time, the youngest member Yeri was only 17.
With the growing concerns about Min Hee Jin's concepts and "p*dophilic" tendencies, fans are demanding HYBE to replace the person in charge of NewJeans.
