BLACKPINK Jisoo Draws Concern Due to Weight Loss Following Recent Photo

On July 29, Jisoo took to Weverse to communicate with fans and supporters following the release of BLACKPINK x PUBG's virtual performance for "Ready for Love" on the same day.

On the fan-communicating platform, the female star wrote:

"BLINKs, it's been a while since the weather was nice, and I came to think of BLINK. Did you see the release of 'Ready for Love' today?

Haha, it was nice to give this song as a present which we have been waiting for, for a long time. Now, really, really, really, really quickly! the real BLACKPINK is really coming! Let's enjoy it together as much as we've waited. We'll be back soon. BLINK, who I miss and love; enjoy today."

Along with the message to fans was Jisoo's mirror selfie. The photo immediately gained attention for her unrelenting beauty, worthy of being called the "most beautiful woman in the world in 2022."

While many showered the female idol with praises for her visuals, internet users and BLINKs (fandom of BLACKPINK) showed their concerns after noticing Jisoo's weight loss.

Fans pointed out how skinny Jisoo is in the photo, evident by the absence of her cute chubby cheeks, which are often compared to a bunny.

Despite being known as one of the female idols with a small face, internet users also implied that her facial features got bigger, proving that her face has gotten smaller.

As BLACKPINK confirmed their return in August, fans explained that Jisoo must have been losing weight ahead of their comeback. However, people are not happy how she's losing weight when all BLACKPINK members already possess "doll-like figures."

• "Every time they have a comeback, she loses weight. I remember she did it for 'How You Like That,' too."

Of course, fans explained that they would support the members as long as they were happy and satisfied with their figures, but they also reminded the quartet:

BLACKPINK Releases 'Ready for Love' MV

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, in collaboration with PUBG, released the special MV for the group's song track, "Ready for Love," on July 29.

The track is an attractive song with a cool drop in the chorus that breaks the static flow of the lyrical piano performance. The song's first verse and performance were first introduced at BLACKPINK's recent in-game concert "THE VIRTUAL," which captivated the eyes and ears of music fans.

Following this, BLACKPINK will then make a comeback as a whole group in August and launch a series of new song projects, including the largest world tour in the history of K-pop girl groups.
