&AUDITION - The Howling Episode 6: Two HYBE Artists to Make Surprise Appearances
On Aug. 9, HYBE Labels Japan announced through a press release that two existing artists under the South Korea-based headquarter will appear together in the upcoming "&AUDITION - The Howling" episode 6.

The artists in question are none other than Big Hit Music's own BTS and TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT). Following the previous appearances of ENHYPEN and SEVENTEEN, BTS and TXT are said to complete the "support lineup" for their juniors.

In "&AUDITION - The Howling" episode 6, which will air on the 13th, will mark the start of the fourth round of competition, which will be the "BTS Mission." This round will be the participants' last chance to advance to the final round.

Like the previous round, where the 15 HYBE Labels Japan trainees performed SEVENTEEN songs for the "SEVENTEEN Legendary Mission," the "BTS Mission" will feature the contestants dividing into teams as well and covering BTS songs.
Attention is drawn to what kind of advice and support the two leading K-pop artists, BTS and TOMORROW X TOGETHER, will give to the 15 trainees for the forthcoming round.

Apart from completing the BTS Mission to make it to the final round, the participants must also accomplish an important mission, which is to fill one big "&RING" with the "&BALL" that an individual trainee can receive for each evaluation.
If the "&RING" can be filled within four rounds, all contestants can advance to the final round. However, if the trainees fail to do so, everyone's debut including the initial debut trainees (K, Nicholas, EJ, and Taki) will be canceled.

Meanwhile, a 30-minute episode of "&AUDITION - The Howling" is released every Wednesday. Then, the 60-minute version of the episode will be released every Saturday on the HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel and the Japanese video platform Hulu Japan. The behind-the-scenes content is also shared on the HYBE Labels Youtube channel.

BTS & TOMORROW X TOGETHER's Recent Activities
In the past months, BTS and TXT came back to the K-pop scene with new albums.
In particular, BTS dropped their anthology album "Proof" on June 10. It contains three new songs- "Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)," "Run BTS," and "For Youth"- together with many of the boy group's past hits.

"Proof" has achieved numerous milestones since its release. On Aug. 1, the anthology album was announced to have gone gold in France. To obtain a gold certification in the country, an album must reach 50,000 units of equivalent sales. With this, "Proof" is now the fifth BTS album to go gold in France, following "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA," "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," BE," and "Love Yourself: Tear."
Besides "Proof," BTS' other new music is their collaboration single "Bad Decisions" with Snoop Dogg and Benny Blanco.

Meanwhile, TXT dropped their new mini-album "minisode 2: Thursday's Child" featuring the title song "Good Boy Gone Bad." This album has become the first K-pop album released this 2022 to chart for 11 weeks on Billboard 200.
