Surprisingly, the "That That" hitmaker became linked to Girls' Generation member YoonA back in 2012. The two somehow became embroiled in a dating rumor after a photo of YoonA and a man began circulating on online community sites after it was shared by a Chinese media site.

In the photos, YoonA can be seen wearing a hoodie and a cap as she strolls around a market. Her outfit resembled that of what K-pop idols usually wear when they go out in public without wanting to be seen.
Along with YoonA was a man wearing a cap as well. Although his face wasn't fully visible due to it, the Chinese media site assumed it was PSY due to the resemblance.
The media site also reported that PSY and YoonA had met at a party six months prior to the photo being taken. According to the site, it was YoonA that first "fell in love" with PSY while at the party due to his outgoing personality.

Soon after, YoonA reportedly started going to more of PSY's parties, which led to the beginning of their secret affair.
While some were skeptical about this dating rumor, other netizens began spreading that the two were in a relationship. This is particularly detrimental to both their careers as PSY was already married at the time of the rumors.
Following the shocking dating rumor between the two, both PSY and YoonA's labels responded by stating that the baseless rumors weren't worth responding to.

It caused outrage among netizens as a scandalous story was created around a few photos. In fact, the photos used were found to be taken while YoonA was filming the SBS variety show "Running Man," and that the man in the photo was a cameraman assigned to YoonA.
YoonA even mentioned on "Happy Together 3" that she didn't know PSY's number!

As previously stated, PSY is married to Yoo Hye Yeon, a cellist. The two wed back in October 2006 after meeting through a mutual acquaintance and later dating for three and a half years.
PSY and Yoo Hye Yeon also have twin daughters who were born not long after.
