BIBI Reveals Her 'Underboob' Fashion Was Not Intentional
This year, the industry is seeing more and more K-pop idols joining in on the "underboob" trend, with numerous idols rocking the look. Some of the idols who have joined the risqué fashion include HyunA, BLACKPINK Jennie, Jessi, LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon, (G)I-DLE Soyeon, and many more.
In particular, one singer who went viral for her "underboob" fashion was "The Weekend" singer BIBI, who sported the daring looking when she attended an interview for long-running American media outlet Entertainment Tonight (ET) back in April of this year.

Prior to her interview, BIBI had been invited to perform at the biggest music festival in the United States, Coachella, for 88rising's Head In The Clouds stage in the same month. She then sat down with Entertainment Tonight to talk about her performance, how she felt, and more, and gained attention for her fun and bubbly energy.
While BIBI isn't one to shy away from more daring outfits, she revealed an interesting fact about her outfit from when she was on Entertainment Tonight, where she wore the "underboob" fashion that caught the eye of numerous netizens and became the talk of social media.

BIBI on Entertainment Tonight
According to BIBI, she was actually not aware of the more exposing nature of the top she was given to wear until she was putting on her microphone before the interview began.
She had explained in a different interview, "I quickly got dressed and started the [Entertainment Tonight] interview. I only found out [about the top] when I was putting on the mic."

However, netizens couldn't help but be skeptical of her statement. Many wondered how BIBI could have been unaware of how her outfit was designed to look or why her stylist didn't inform her of its risqué nature.

This year, she featured on Choi Yena's song "Smiley," and collaborated with 88rising for the single "Best Lover."
Aside from her music ventures, BIBI lent her voice for the song "Very, Slowly" as part of the drama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" original soundtrack.
