SEVENTEEN DK, Musical Actor Kai Form Friendship Despite Big Age Gap

SEVENTEEN DK, who is also a musical actor, has formed a close relationship with his "Xcalibur" co-actor Kai after performing a duet for Kai's album.

According to a report, the musical actor said he was touched by DK's sincerity and attachment while the two were getting ready to record his song "Die Schatten Werden Laenger (그림자는 길어지고)."

Kai also said he will occasionally contact the SEVENTEEN member when he is bored and when he knows that the idol is free, they will meet up and catch up.

Fans appreciate the gesture from the senior musical actor and singer saying that it is nice that their idol has other friends outside of the idol world.

Meanwhile, the song is from the musical actor's album "One Musical: Inside." It is loved by fans of both the musical actor and the idol. Both male singers showed their expressive and amazing vocal prowess.

The goosbump-inducing song started strong with the tintrumental and then became stronger with DK's voice. At the chorus, the two voices blended superbly and continued giving goosebumps.

Being one of the cast members is a huge accomplishment for the idol and his fans. He showed a side of him that's apart from being an idol, and for that, he is thankful.

Wildhorn, the musical's composer, said that Dokyeom is prepared for the world of musical as singing, dancing, and performing is natural to the idol.

"He is young, but successful in the K-pop scene. When he comes to rehearsal, he is ready to learn new things here," Wildhorn said.

Meanwhile, during DK's first appearance for the musical, he has stated that he adores musicals.

"I am impressed by the energy of actors on stage and how they convey emotions in songs. It's my first work and I'm very excited to be with the world's best staff and great seniors' It's not an easy challenge but it's a great honor to have a great opportunity to do Xcalibur."

Meanwhile, one of the most memorable reactions DK received from one of his members was Jeonghan's tearful remark.

"Jeonghan-hyung came to see the opening show. But he said he couldn't stop crying... from the first scene through the whole show. He kept crying because it reminded him of all the time I spent as a trainee. That was memorable."
