KCON, or K-pop Convention, started in the US in 2012 to cater to the American fans who cannot go to South Korea to see their idols. The event has been giving us so many iconic performances from amazing groups all these years, and we probably wouldn't be able to enumerate our top 3 favorite KCON performances that easily.

But we're here to help you remember! We compiled some of the iconic KCON performances, televised on "MCountdown".

1. B.A.P. - 'No Mercy'

One of the very first groups that performed at the convention is the now disbanded group B.A.P. The live performance from the group was definitely memorable as the members made the audience go wild with their amazing skills.

2. TEEN TOP - 'Miss Right' + 'To You'

Next on the list is the 2nd generation boy group TEEN TOP. Another amazing live performance where you can hear all the breathing of the members.

This performance is on the list because of how the audience enjoyed it (and not gonna lie, we did too as we watch the footage!).

3. G-DRAGON & Missy Elliot

This performance is probably one of the most iconic performances by a K-pop star x interational artist ever. The BIGBANG leader was the first one to collaborate with a Western artist on a stage like this. For his "Coup d'etat" comeback, he prepared this iconic performance for VIPs and worldwide fans.

4. IU - 'Red Shoes'

Performed during the same year at the same event, IU's "Red Shoes" KCON performance is part of our list because the solo singer owned the stage during her performance. She has shown how skilled and versatile she is with it.

5. I.O.I - 'Pick Me'

I.O.I made a memorable KCON performance of their hit "Pick Me" before going their own ways. They were present at the very first KCON in France in 2016 and performed the anthem of "Produce 101".

Dressed in their competition uniforms, I.O.I happily sing and danced to their track, hyping up the whole crowd with them.

6. BTS - 'Fire'

Of course, this list is not complete without a BTS KCON performance! 

Though there were definitely many to choose from, we included their "Fire" performance during the 2016 KCON in New York.

It looked like it was one of their concerts as the audience sang and danced with them. Definitely iconic!

7. f(x) - '4 Walls'

When we say f(x)'s "4 Walls" is a crowd-favorite, we're not lying! And their KCON performance of the hit dance track is a proof!

SM Entertainment's girl group, f(x), performed "4 Walls" in the KCON 2016 in France. It was definitely iconic as the attendees sang with the girl group, especially during the part "Love is 4 walls"!

8. Crayon Pop - 'Bar Bar Bar'

This iconic song is included in our list because it was the craze in 2013. the cute but very well-coordinated members of Crayon Pop wowed the crowd with their amazing skills.

9. EXO - 'Growl'

Another one from an SM Entertainment group is EXO's "Growl". Performed in 2013, it was when they started to really make a name for themselves. It is safe to say that that year was theirs!

10. WANNA ONE - 'Energetic'

Another group from MNET's survival show "Produce 101" is WANNA ONE. The 11-member boy group got the audience singing and dancing to their "Energetic" KCON performance.

11. SEVENTEEN - 'Hit'

SEVENTEEN is definitely a performance master. They always give their 100 percent in performing during conventions and festivals. And lucky you if you see them performing "HIT" live in KCON 2019!

12. Chungha - 'God Is A Woman'

This special performance by the Chungha is definitely one of the most iconic KCON performances. Ever. It's not usual we see an artist perform live with a cover ("God Is A  Woman" is popularized by Ariana Grande) but Chungha definitely left LA with more fans after this performance.

13. MAMAMOO - 'Decalcomanie'

A list of live performances will not be complete without the powerhouse vocalists of K-pop, MAMAMOO. Though during this performance, they did not perform for a live audience, it is still one of the best performances as they perform the "Queendom" version of their hit single "Decalcomanie."

14. NMIXX Cover of Stray Kid's 'Thunderous'

Rookie girl group NMIXX proved that they are not just pretty faces, but are also great performers by covering their senior group song, Stray Kids' "Thunderous."

NMIXX has shown what they can offer and still do so fans were going wild shouting and screaming.

15. TWICE - 'Fancy'

This KCON performance in Japan is one of TWICE most watched KCON performances ever. Their stunning intro and fan chants are truly memorable as the group gave their all to perform in front of the Japanese audience.
