TWICE Becomes Million-Seller With 'Between 1&2'
According to JYP Entertainment, TWICE's 11th mini-album "Between 1&2" surpassed 1 million pre-orders as of the 24th of August.
TWICE surpassed their own best record as it is an increase of more than 300,000 copies compared to the 3rd regular album "Formula of Love: O+T=<3".
They are the third girl group to do this feat. Previously, aespa achieved this with their second album "Girls," while BLACKPINK had more than one million pre-sales with "THE ALBUM."
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment has announced that BLACKPINK's upcoming album "BORN PINK" has surpassed two million pre-sales orders.

TWICE Releases 'Talk That Talk' Music Video Teaser 2
JYP Entertainment released the second music video teaser for TWICE's "Talk That Talk" on August 25, 12 midnight KST.
TWICE becomes a million sellers with "BETWEEN 1&2" Pre-orders.
According to an article, the title song "Talk That Talk" features an addictive melody on a strong beat. The lovely message, "Tell me everything that's on your mind!" is harmonious.
TWICE's "Talk That Talk" MV is a quirky approach to them being international spies. The members are searching for clues and codes for their investigation about how they can confess their love for ONCEs.
Further, the whole album has a Y2K feels as there are fragments and pieces of early 2000s style in it.
Meaning Behind TWICE's 'BETWEEN 1&2'
"Between 1&2" means "talks between ONCE (fandom) and TWICE. The new mini-album is their way to express their strong bond.

Recently, TWICE sat down in an interview with GRAMMY. There, they were asked about their re-signing, Nayeon's solo release "Pop!", and what can ONCEs expect for "BETWEEN 1&2".
Jeongyeon said they tried different concepts and genres with their 11th mini-album. Since there are seven songs in it, fans can expect to hear songs that are pop, dance, ballad, and rock.
As for the whole vibe of the album, Jeongyeon stated that ONCEs will feel an intense retro vibe from it. Their title track and "Brave" are songs that also have a strong retro feel.
She continued saying that though the songs have different sounds, they are connected because they tell the conversation they want to have with their fans.
Meanwhile, TWICE will release "Between 1&2" at 1:00 p.m. on August 26 KST. Simultaneously, they will hold a comeback live stream to commemorate their new release and to communicate with ONCEs.
Moreover. TWICE will also appear on the popular American music program "MTV Fresh Out Live."
