Nana debuted in 2009 with After School. In 2010, together with Lizzy and Raina, they formed Orange Caramel sub-unit. The trio went on to get more known as they release hits after hits.

She started her acting career in China in the Chinese version of the Korean drama "Queen In Hyun's Man." She also was in the romantic comedy movie "Go Lala Go 2" in the same year.

She received her first award as an actress after starring as Kim Dan in the Korean version of the American television series "The Good Wife." She received a rookie actress award in 2016's Asia Artist Awards.

She starred in her first Korean movie in the comedy film "The Swindlers" and it was a box office hit. She went back to the small screen and starred in an OCN drama titled "Kill It" and in a KBS melodrama "Justice" in 2019.

Meanwhile, she is set to make her small screen return through Netflix's "Glitch" with Jeon Yeo Bin.
