DKZ will officially end their activities as a group on May 31, 2026, with all five members set to focus on individual careers starting in June.

DKZ's agency, Dongyo Entertainment, announced on Apr. 15 that, after sufficient discussions with the members, they agreed to conclude group promotions with schedules planned through May 31 serving as the final activities.

The company expressed deep gratitude to fans who supported the group over the years and thanked the members for their time and efforts together. The decision marks the end of roughly seven years of team activities since the group's debut, according to Soompi.

According to the statement, the five members will meet fans through individual activities from June 2026. Jaechan and Juwon have renewed their contracts with Dongyo Entertainment and plan to continue working in various fields under the agency.

Members Sehyeon, Mingyu, and Giseok will also move forward as artists with the same company while pursuing their own paths. The agency pledged full support for all five members' future endeavors and asked fans to keep sending their encouragement.

DKZ first debuted under the name Dongkiz on Apr. 24, 2019, with the single album "Dongkiz on the Block." The group later rebranded as DKZ and went through lineup changes before stabilizing as a five-member team, Khan Sports reported.

Over the years, they released songs such as "Crazy Night" and "Cupid," gradually building a loyal fanbase known as Dong-ari. The agency highlighted the fandom in its announcement, thanking Dong-ari for walking alongside the group during what it called a "brilliant journey."

While many fans expressed sadness at the news of disbandment, the members and agency framed the decision as a new chapter rather than an end. With all members remaining in the industry and preparing separate projects, attention is now turning to how each will shape his own career after May 31.

Dongyo Entertainment reiterated that it would spare no effort in supporting their next steps, signaling that DKZ's legacy will continue through the members' individual paths, as per Pink Villa.
