Dreamcatcher Will Give You a 'VISION' in Comeback MV + Media Showcase

Dreamcatcher finally made their comeback with another rock genre song "Vision," which is part of their seventh mini-album "Apocalypse: Follow Us." Check out the music video for their new title track below.

Dreamcatcher "VISION" MV Officially Out + Group's Media Showcase

On Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. KST, Dreamcatcher made their highly-anticipated comeback with their seventh mini-album "Apocalypse: Follow Us" and the music video for their new title song "VISION."

"Apocalypse: Follow Us" is a follow-up of their second studio album "Apocalypse: Save Us," which was released this past April. Following their "Dystopia" series that criticized witch hunting and malicious comments, the girl group is raising awareness about environmental issues through their "Apocalypse" series.

"VISION" is a song that harmonizes the electronic sound of the dark techno genre and the sound of metal rock. The lyrics contain Dreamcatcher's belief of wanting to create a world where all lives are happy.

In addition to the title song, Dreamcatcher's "Apocalypse: Follow Us" contains songs that fall under the alternative rock genre such as "Fairytale" and "Some Love" that contains the message that it is important to love oneself.

There's also a ballad titled "Rainy Day," which features an impressive rain sound and piano accompaniment.

About the music video for Dreamcatcher's "VISION," the girls can be seen in various locations, such as the sky, a desert, a destroyed city with dark clouds and lightning, and more.

In some scenes, the girls can be seen showcasing what seems to be their power and fighting bad guys.

Dreamcatcher Holds Media Showcase for "Apocalypse: Follow Us" Comeback

Ahead of the release of their seventh mini-album, Dreamcatcher held a media showcase at Konkuk University's New Millennium Hall in Gwang-ju, Seoul in the afternoon.

Regarding the album, Dreamcatcher Handong said, "There are a lot of love songs in the album other than the title track. We think it's attractive to convey a message through songs and performances."

Dami added, "I also think 'VISION' is a love song. Because it is love for the earth, but it seems to express a different side of love."

When asked about Dreamcatcher's vision to protect the planet in the rapidly changing K-pop market, Dami said, "We think that our main vision is to push our own rock metal genre to the end. Before, some people thought that it was uncommon, but now they think of us when they hear the rock metal genre."

With the goal of moving forward with their vision, Siyeon said, "Last time, we won first place with 'Maison.' Now that fans are coming to music shows, we want to capture them with a sense of realism."

Apart from the Q&A session, Dreamcatcher also took the stage to perform not only their title track "VISION" but also the b-side song "Rainy Day."

When asked if there's a possibility of promoting with a different song besides the title track, Ji-U answered, "We are open to do it anytime. We once released a bright fan song called 'Over the Sky' after all. We always want to do it again if there's an opportunity."
