aespa Winter's Natural Beauty Shines in Pre-Debut Photo

In online communities, aespa Winter became the talk of the town after her pre-debut photo spread like wildfire on the web. The photo was unveiled by the idol herself through the subscription-based fan-messaging app, Bubble. Winter wrote in her caption:

"My friend showed me an old picture. I was in sixth grade."

In the photo, Winter in pigtails and bangs was hanging out with a friend inside the karaoke room. The photo was taken on February 2, 2013, over nine years ago.

As soon as the photo was shared on various social platforms, Winter went viral for her beauty that seemingly didn't change even after about a decade.

She was 12 years old when the photo was captured, but her youthful beauty, eyes and nose are no different from her current appearance at the age of 21.

Mys (aespa fandom) also brought back the story of Winter who dreamed of becoming an idol-singer while working in a school dance club when she was in middle school.

When Winter was younger, she once served as vice president of the school in middle school and studied in a special math class because she was good at math.

The photo was shared on the 10th and the uploader wrote the caption, "aespa Winter certified as natural beauty."

The post and photo seemed to be an indirect response to malicious posts and comments accusing Winter as "Gangnam Beauty," or a person who went under the knife, amid her Paris Fashion Week appearance.

Earlier, aespa members were invited to attention Givenchy's show at the 2023 S/S Paris Fashion Week, gracing France with their stunning beauty. When photos of the quartet were uploaded online, Winter particularly drew attention after some noticed the changes in her nose.

According to comments, Winter had a nose job, pointing out her alleged higher nose bridge compared to her previous photos. There were also claims she also had jaw surgery due to her slimmer face.

However, the photo once again proved Winter's natural beauty, even before she became a trainee under SM Entertainment.
In fact, Winter's childhood photos shared in the past are also strong evidence to debunk her plastic surgery rumors.

On the other hand, aespa departed from Korea for Los Angeles on October 13 to attend the "KAMP LA 2022 K-pop Festival" through Incheon International Airport's second passenger terminal in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.
