The fearless girl group from Source Music and Hybe Corporation has shattered their pre-order record as their comeback 'ANTIFRAGILE' surpassed 620,000 pre-order copies, beating 'FEARLESS' with 380,000 stock pre-orders.

On October 17, 2022, Chaewon, Sakura, Yunjin, Kazuha, and Eunchae joined the press conference held at Yonsei University Centennial Memorial Concert Hall in Seoul. The media exposure was dedicated to their first comeback.

Through this, the members shared some insights regarding their album's pre-order record and the latest choreography.

'ANTIFRAGILE' Record Fearless of Its Forerunner

Debuting last May 2, 2022, with 'FEARLESS', LE SSERAFIM was a head-turner in the K-pop industry and is among the frequently mentioned names of "Best New Artist" for 2022.

On midnight October 17, 2022, the five-member girl group dropped their music video. Congruent to being fearless, the comeback song talks about dignified empowerment and noble self-growth during times of challenges.

As explained by reports, the first comeback of LE SSERAFIM featured an "Afro-Latin style pop" blended with "heavy Latin rhythm."

In the press conference, Kazuha shared that the ladies learned about the news while practicing, and they could not help but scream due to the sudden surprise. Also, for the Japanese member, this new pre-order record milestone signifies how the people appreciate their hard work and efforts.

Yunjin added that the group is beyond grateful for the fans and thus would repay them by showcasing better and more impressive performances.

On 'ANTIFRAGILE' Choreography - "Twice as difficult as Fearless."

After five months in the industry, Yunjin and Kazuha shared that the girls felt pressure for the comeback, thinking about whether the fans would like it. But the girls have tried to radiate a "free and relaxed" image whenever on stage.

Nevertheless, Sakura mentioned the trembling feelings were replaced by positive thoughts as they were beyond happy that they were given this comeback project.

The group leader, Chaewon, resonated with how FEARLESS received a lot of love, pushing the group to "surpass the performance of the debut song".

When asked about the song's choreography, the girls were in unison to agree that compared to the debut song, ANTIFRAGILE is more difficult.

"I started preparing as soon as my debut activities were over, but it was at least twice as difficult as 'Fearless.'" - Sakura

The group's maknae even stated how the choreography became an avenue for her to develop "real arm muscles." Moreover, the quintet girl group cited that the difficulty in choreography was heightened by the challenge to maintain a "relaxed expression" whenever performing it.

Perhaps, the choreography is one of the reasons why LE SSERAFIM's members are praised for their toned bodies, as manifested through their abs.
