On October 17, 2022, Sojang uploaded a video titled "[LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon's plastic surgery] Everything has gotten too big." In the video, they claimed the female idol had undergone breast surgery.

In IZ*ONE, Kim Chaewon was known for her skinny figure. She was lean and slim, and because of that, had "no volume" in her chest, according to Sojang.

However, following IZ*ONE's disbandment, there was an extended period in which Kim Chaewon was not in the public eye. The YouTuber accused the idol of undergoing several procedures, such as double eyelid surgery and a nose job.

However, he also claimed the female idol underwent breast surgery.
Sojang claims that after Kim Chaewon debuted in LE SSERAFIM, she shocked many with her glamorous, curvier figure. When she is lying down, the size of her chest is noticeably larger than during her time in IZ*ONE.

There is one tell-tale sign that she underwent surgery. When wearing a sleeveless top or dress, a scar is seen near Kim Chaewon's armpit, at the upper side of her chest. This incision is common when undergoing breast surgery.

While there is nothing wrong with undergoing a boob job, Sojang notes that it deviates from the cute image Kim Chaewon had in IZ*ONE.
Additionally, Sojang claims that for the "ANTIFRAGILE" comeback, Kim Chaewon got her nose "fixed." During her time in IZ*ONE, Kim Chaewon's had an adorable, button nose with a low bridge. However, her nose bridge continues to get higher and sharper.
