Although many artists are into gaming, watching dramas and movies, and hanging out with their friends in their free time, some idols opt for hobbies that are somewhat uncommon.

The Boyz Haknyeon has that hobby that most of us probably don't enjoy during our free time- he loves to feed pigs. His mother runs a pig farm on Jeju Island, and whenever the idol has no schedule to complete, he goes home to spend time with the pigs on the farm.

Red Velvet Irene

Given that Irene is Red Velvet's oldest member and their leader, it makes sense that she would be considered as the "mom" of the group. But aside from cooking and looking after the members, one of the main reasons her co-members see Irene as their mom is because of her odd hobby- ironing clothes.

EXO Chanyeol

EXO Chanyeol is also a K-pop idol who enjoys a somewhat unusual hobby. During his days off, the "Don't Fight the Feeling" rapper makes tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). He even shared his own recipe on social media back in 2015, which quickly went viral.

Eris around the world then tried doing the not-so-secret-anymore recipe of the idol. After tasting the dish that they cooked, fans can't help but exclaim how good it is and even asked Chanyeol to set up his own tteokbokki restaurant.

Oh My Girl Jiho

A little different from other K-pop idols, Oh My Girl Jiho enjoys taking screenshots of the time whenever the hour and minute are the same number. She would capture the matching numbers every day. It is uncertain when she started doing this, but there were a total of 921 photos of this kind on her iPad as of

EXID Hani

EXID Hani may be known as a stunningly sexy goddess when performing on stage, but her hobby of reading super-gory and violent manga (we're referring to beheadings with an excessive amount of blood) absolutely goes against that image.

VIXX N

Another unusual hobby of a K-pop idol is making scented candles, which VIXX N does. He's actually such a pro at it. He once made a total of 630 candles and sold them at a certain fan meeting of VIXX in Japan. All the profits he gained were then donated to the country to help those in need after the 2011 tsunamis. He surely is a man with good hands and a good heart.

Former GFRIEND Yuju

According to Pops in Seoul, former GFRIEND member Yuju also has a unique way of spending her spare time. And that is to listen to other people vent about their problems and provide advice. But, the interesting thing is that she doesn't like to talk about her own problems.
