From holding world tours to overseas brand promotions to participating in other international events such as humanitarian causes, it becomes imperative on why K-pop idols should observe the validity of their passport.
As part of the tradition, Korean media outlets release airport photos of K-pop idols during departure and arrival. With these photos, K-pop idols do not just flex their latest "airport OOTDs," but eagle-eyed fans are not just always after the airport-turned-to-red carpet frenzy, as they also notice the artist's passports!
Lately, in a Korean online fan forum, netizens observed that LE SSERAFIM, a rookie girl group from Source Music composed of Chaewon, Yunjin, Sakura, Kazuha, and Eunchae, has something "unique" in their passports.

LE SSERAFIM Members Own Different Passports
With the release of their second mini-album and first comeback, 'ANTIFRAGILE,' the girls showcased their innate strength amidst vulnerability and challenges.
The rookie group has shattered their records with this 6-track comeback as they scored 7.5 million views in the first 24-hours release of the music video and over 600,000 plus pre-order copies.

As a rising group under Source Music, the girls' photos are everywhere on the Internet - including their airport photos. Photobombing these photos are the girls' passports.
Upon careful deliberations, the fans have noticed that LE SSERAFIM members have different passports!
Some netizens have commented that this is natural since the LE SSERAFIM has foreign members. Other K-pop groups with numerous foreign members such as NCT, TWICE, TREASURE, SEVENTEEN, GOT7, and ENHYPEN are often spotted holding their passports which reveal the K-pop idol's nationality.

LE SSERAFIM's leader, Kim Chaewon, and maknae, Hong Eunchae own Korean passports since their nationality is South Korean.
The netizens spotted that although the two members hold Korean passports, significant differences were pointed out as Chaewon owns a green passport, which signifies ownership of the old design, while Eunchae holds a blue passport which denotes the updated one.
Contrastingly, the group's main vocalist, Huh Yunjin has an American passport.

LE SSERAFIM's Sakura and Kazuha own Japanese passports, but there is a clue that differs Sakura's passport from Kazuha's.
