K-pop fans, you know the drill! Are you excited for the 2022 MAMA Awards?

Hitting the last two months of the year signifies the occurrence of the MAMA Awards, a major awarding body dedicated to celebrating outstanding K-pop and Asian music.

On October 24, 2022, the 2022 MAMA Awards dropped the roster of nominees. Also, according to reports, the 2022 MAMA will take place in Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on November 29 and 30, 2022.

The star-studded red carpet shall start at 4:00 PM (KST), while the awarding ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM (KST).

•  Album of the Year: 40% judges, 60% song download/streaming
•  Worldwide Icon of the Year: 50% Mnet Plus votes, 30% Spotify votes, 10% Twitter votes, 10% music video score, extra 10% for live broadcast Twitter votes

For Other Categories:

•  Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10: 50% Mnet Plus votes, 30% Spotify votes, 10% Twitter votes, 10% music video score
•  Awards Categories by artist: 40% judges, 30% songs download/streaming (Korea 20%, Global 10%), 30% record sales

Fans may start casting their pre-votes on October 24, 2022, until November 4, 2022, for Worldwide Fans' Choice Category. Meanwhile, the voting season for the said category will resume on November 10, 2022, until November 24, 2022.
