In their recent guest on Knowing Bros, Yuqi shared that she could copy Korean dialects. Surprisingly, (G)I-DLE's lead dancer revealed that she is linguistically proficient in using Korean slang words and is confident in swearing and cursing.
Yuqi confidently and comically said "I'm good at swearing in Korean, swear phrases are what I remember the quickest."
The revelation of Yuqi's secret talent shows a peek at her humorous and vibrant yet savage personality. This hidden talent is credited to (G)I-DLE's leader and rapper, Soyeon.
Yuqi shared that she learned several Korean curse words from Soyeon. The leader, who smiled clumsily was warned by Yuqi "not to act" like she is unaware of it.
To defend herself and avoid the hot seat, Soyeon shared that she "deliberately taught" Yuqi any slang words. (G)I-DLE leader explained that she once said to Yuqi 'What the hell are you staring at?' as a joke, but Yuqi started using the phrase casually.
Funnily, Yuqi used the phrase to everyone in the company, without even knowing the meaning of the phrase.
