In a YouTube upload of HeyNews, THE8 sat for a heart-to-heart conversation with someone initially dubious to meet him. Of course, who would not be skeptical about meeting the K-pop artist your daughters are head over heels with?

Seeing THE8's face only in the albums of his daughters allowed the father to encounter a surreal feeling. Seeing SEVENTEEN's lead dancer from paper to flesh is indeed majestic, though.

Bravely, the father has spoken about how his daughters are spending their money to support THE8 and SEVENTEEN, to the point of buying several versions of the albums just to show their love for the 'HOT' singers.

For K-pop fans, it is understandable why one spends a lot of money buying merchandise, but from an outside point of view, it is difficult to sympathize with why such fans purchase multiple versions of the album. Hence, the father asked a favor, THE8, to "stop his daughters from buying the album's multiple versions."

Known for his compassionate words, THE8 expressed his responsiveness to the father's concern, but he immediately pinpointed the daughters' motivations in buying several albums.

THE8's attack to clarify the situation may appear "humorous," but it is the only way to explain the CARATs' motivations to non-fans.

"But the point is, other members' faces come out the album. If my photo card didn't come out in the album, it's upsetting. Then, I try to buy another one. So buying four might be a bit small." - THE8

There happened to be a segment in the clip where the father read the letter his daughter had penned. In this letter, the daughter shared her fears, troubles, anxiety, and stress as she pursued acting.

Surprisingly, the daughter sees THE8 as an epitome who optimizes her to follow her dreams. It is an open book on how THE8 left his home country, China, to pursue a career in the K-pop industry. Seeing THE8's dedication to his dreams allowed the daughter to find inspiration in the artist.

Upon hearing these thoughts from the fangirl, THE8 asked the father if he could give his daughter some words of wisdom that may motivate and comfort her.

SEVENTEEN's lead dancer also shared that his parents' faith in him became a walkable path as he pursued his performance career.
