Former Lovelyz Kei Dating Rumor: Did She Really Date JYJ Junsu?

In November of last year,  Kim Junsu founded a one-man agency, PALMTREE ISLAND, following his departure from C-JeS Entertainment. Since then, many artists have signed with the company, including former Lovelyz member Kei, who joined as an actress.

On Aug. 19, Korean media outlet My Daily released an exclusive report stating that Kei and Junsu, who starred together in multiple musicals such as "Death Note" and "Excalibur," were in a relationship.

The outlet added that the two celebrities supported each other's activities under the same agency, and were developing their love for one another.

Shortly after the dating news came out, PALMTREE ISLAND released an official statement firmly denying that former Lovelyz Kei is dating JYJ Junsu.

The company said, "We are informing you that the article published today (August 19) reporting that Kim Junsu and Kei are dating is completely false."

They continued that the relationship between the two of them is that of a company CEO and an artist under that label, as well as a senior and junior colleague in the industry.

On the same day, JYJ Junsu took to his Instagram account to deny the dating news himself.

He wrote:

"While living as a celebrity, there have been several incidents where I was shocked or unfairly portrayed in articles, but today's article has ranked #1 as the article that took me by surprise the most. [Kei] is an actress who I met through the agency and through [our similarities] as previous idols. We were already using formal language and were carefully around one another, but thanks to this [dating article], we will likely be even more awkward now. I apologize to Kei's fans for seeing such a ridiculous article since the early morning. I also want to tell my fans to not worry for at least today."

The JYJ member once again denied the dating article on the Sept. 14 episode of "Groom Class." At that time, Park Hye Mi said, "Junsu is my dongsaeng and musical hoobae. There was nothing like that with a woman."

Lee Seung Chul responded, "If you know Junsu, he has a lot [of women]," to which Junsu denied, "I don't have a lot. It's a misunderstanding. The rumor recently is definitely not true either."

Former Lovelyz Kei's Current Relationship Status & Ideal Type

Meanwhile, former Lovelyz member Kei is believed to be not dating anyone as of the moment. So far, she has not confessed that she is dating someone, and she has been busy with her activities, hence, it's hard to know whether she's in a relationship.

About her ideal type, Kei revealed in an interview with GEEK, that she likes someone who is comfortable to be with, has leadership skills, and is also humorous. She also once said that her ideal type is a "prince charming riding a white horse," which suggests that the musical actress is a fan of fairy tales.
