Kep1er Young Eun suddenly dropped her call during the girl group's fan signing event, leaving fans extremely worried about her.

Following the release of the third EP "Troubleshooter," Kep1er has been busy connecting with its fans through offline and online events. Most recently, they held a StarRiver video call fan signing.

The event, however, sparked worries after Young Eun halted her call.

Is Kep1er Young Eun OK?

On November 21, Kep1er met its fans through a video call fan signing event. Attendees then noticed that Young Eun suddenly disappeared amid the call.

As fans' worries continue to heighten, the girl group's agencies WAKEONE and Swing Entertainment released a joint statement to reveal the idol's status. According to the companies, she was taken immediately to a hospital after feeling sudden, poor health.

They did not mention what exactly happened to Young Eun, but they assured the eight remaining members would proceed with the schedule.

"As we apologize once again to fans who waited and applied for the StarRiver fan signing, we also ask for your understanding. We apologize for causing concern to fans and will do our best for our agency artist's recovery," it went on.

Young Eun faced the health issue days after taking the 2023 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). It remains unknown whether she will miss the 2022 MAMA Awards where Kep1er is scheduled to appear alongside fourth-generation girl groups like NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, IVE, and NMIXX.

Kep1er Scores Milestone With SEVENTEEN

Amid the worrying news, Kep1er fans celebrated the girl group's recent milestone at the Japan Record Awards.

The 64th annual ceremony - which is the Japanese equivalent of the Grammy Awards -announced on November 16 that Kep1er won a Special Award. The girl group is the only K-pop group among the seven recipients.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN bagged the Special International Music Award.

The official award ceremony will be held on December 30.

It became a great addition to the list of awards and nominations the group scored so far.

This year, Kep1er won Brand Customer Loyalty Awards' Rookie of the Year (Female), K-Global Heart Dream Awards' K-Global Super Rookie Award, and The Fact Music Awards' Global Hottest Award.

It was also nominated for the Best Female Rookie Award at the Genie Music Awards.

Currently, it is waiting for the results of the nominations at the MAMA Awards and Melon Music Awards. Kep1er scored a spot in the latter's New Artist of the Year award.

Meanwhile, it is up to bring up the Best New Female Artist, Artist of the Year, and Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10 at the MAMA Awards.

The upcoming events will be held on November 26 and November 29, respectively.
