Kris Wu Found Guilty of Raping 3 Minors— MORE Details
On November 25, Former EXO member Kris Wu has been found guilty of rape, where he was given a 13-year sentence in prison. He will be soon deported from the country.

Kris Wu 13-Year Sentence For Sexual Assault And Tax Evasion
A court in Beijing posted a verdict announcement in Weibo, to discuss the details. Between November and December of 2020, Kris was found responsible for raping three women, all of whom were intoxicated at the time, and furthermore participated in promisuous conduct in 2018 with two other women.
"The Chaoyang District People's Court held that Wu Yifan's behavior constituted the crime of rape and the crime of gathering a crowd to commit sexual immorality, and should be punished concurrently according to law. Based on the facts of Wu Yifan's crime, the nature, circumstances and harmful consequences of the crime, the court rendered the above judgment."

Although Wu has been denounced by the authorities, they have also charged the celebrity through his additional offenses. On Friday, the officials penalized him a total of 600 million yuan ($84 million) for evading taxes, in addition to his sentence.
"Wu Yifan (WU YI FAN) between 2019 and 2020 used a fictitious business to change the nature of income to make false declarations.
Several foreign affiliated companies concealed personal income and other ways of evading taxes of 95 million yuan, and other underpaid taxes of 84 million yuan.
According to the relevant laws and regulations, the Second Inspection Bureau of the Beijing Municipal Taxation Bureau demanded that Wu Yifan pay taxes, levy late fees and fines, totaling 600 million yuan."

Earlier in July 2021, an 18-year-old influencer in the cosmetics business named Du Meizhu, brought accusations against Wu.
The influencer accused the singer actor on social media of raping her on a date, when she was just 17 and intoxicated. Du later accused Wu with these offenses, with him doing the same on other young women.
Du Meizhu accused Kris Wu of flirting with underage girls on Weibo, where the Chinese student stated, after receiving harassment and death threats from Kris Wu's fans.
She then added that Kris Wu uses a different WeChat number to communicate with underage females.
Du emphasizes that while speaking out on behalf of the minor girls that Kris Wu has misled, she has no justification for falsely accusing Kris Wu intended for attention.
Following these allegations, Kris Wu declared legal action in a statement via his studio. They expressed disbelief on Du Meizhu would go to such far as to garner publicity and vehemently denounce her for malicious defamation, creating outrage among the public.
