Former AOA Choa's Dating Rumor With Electronics Company CEO

The dating report about K-pop idol Choa and the CEO was published back in May 2017, when she was on a temporary hiatus.

On May 17 that year, Sports Seoul released an exclusive report titled, "AOA Choa, Dating a Handsome Businessman." In the article, the Korean media outlet stated that the female idol has been dating Lee Suk Jin in a very careful manner as it was still the early stages of their relationship.

Lee Suk Jin is the CEO of a gaming company called "Najin Industry." His label is an electronics distributor that is popular for its distribution complexes in Yongsan Electronics Market, a center of the electronics industry in Korea. Najin Industry is also an eWorld management company, with Lee Suk Jin known to be an eSports fan.

Aside from Choa, another K-pop idol was mentioned in Sports Seoul's article. It was mentioned that Super Junior Heechul was a big help in making their relationship a reality. Heechul is known to be very interested in video games and that's how he became friends with Lee Suk Jin. After becoming friends, insiders claimed that the Super Junior member introduced Choa and the CEO to each other.

Moreover, the exclusive report stated that Lee Suk Jin is a well-known AOA fan in the eSports community and that he attended AOA concerts and events regularly. And then, after getting to know Choa, he transitioned from being a fan to being a boyfriend.

Sports Seoul further said that insiders in the eSports community told them that they already knew about former AOA Choa dating Lee Suk Jin as it was widely known amongst them.

Former AOA Choa's Dating Rumor: Did She Really Date the CEO?

Following Sports Seoul's report, AOA's agency, FNC Entertainment, released an official statement where they said that they were contacting Choa to ask about the dating news. They then issued a follow-up statement where they denied the female idol and CEO's relationship.

FNC said, "After checking with her, we have confirmed that the man that was mentioned in the article is just a friend of hers. It is not true that they are dating. Thank you."

Afterward, Choa took to her personal Instagram to apologize for the dating news. "I've always thought that I receive more love than I deserve from so many people," she wrote. "Even if people are pointing their fingers at me about something that is not true, I think of it as them showing interest in me, and am prepared to bow my head in thanks."

She continued, "I am so sorry to those unrelated people that have been harmed. If articles about me have caused concern, I apologize." She further said that she will reflect on herself, and finished her post by writing, "Please do not bother unrelated people anymore by linking them to me, just because of my hiatus."

Former AOA Choa's Relationship Status & Ideal Type

As of this writing, female soloist Choa has not made any announcements about her being in a relationship. She also has not been rumored to be dating someone. So, it could mean that she's still single or maybe she's just good at keeping her relationship private.

Concerning her ideal boyfriend, the former AOA member once confessed on MBC's "My Little Television" that it's Kim Sung Joo. She revealed that she's a big fan of his during elementary school and junior high and that she even joined his fan café.

In terms of features, Choa's ideal type differs every time. It's okay if the guy's overall image is fine. But she does prefer neat and smart guys.
