GOT7 Wins 'Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10' During 2022 MAMA Awards

On November 29, 2022 MAMA Awards, held in Japan, announced the winners in some categories to artists who recorded outstanding achievements not only in K-pop but Asian music industry.

On this day, the awards ceremony unveiled the results for Worldwide Fans' Choice Award Top 10: BTS, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, TREASURE, Stray Kids, Psy, TXT, NCT DREAM, and GOT7. 

As a result, GOT7 whose members were currently focused on their respective careers took time to express their grateful hearts to IGOT7/Ahgases (fandom) who voted for and supported them despite the group's hiatus.

Jackson Wang, Mark Tuan, Yugyeom and BamBam posted on their personal Twitter accounts to thank the fandom.

During their acceptance speech delivered through a pre-recorded video, the members said:

• "We want to sincerely thank IGOT7 for this. We know how hard you've worked and that you have sent us your utmost support to make this possible. (BamBam)
• And again, thank you IGOT7 for having trust in us and always supporting us (Jay B)
• Please don't forget that 7 of us are always thinking of you and always touched by you (Yugyeom)
• You are the reason we are able to win the prize and you are the reason we are able to keep on performing as GOT7 (Mark)
• "I GOT7 everyone, as we will always do our best as GOT7 please send us lots of support and love (Jinyoung)
• We wish you guys but nothing but the best and this award belongs to you guys. Thank you! (Jackson)"

Hilarious Reason GOT7 BamBam Asks IGOT7 To 'Leave' IG Live – Here's Plot Twist

For the after-party, BamBam held an Instagram live, which was joined by Jay B and Youngjae. A lucky fan was able to get in as well. After chatting for a while, the members decided to let other fans and bid goodbye to her.

Amid the "thank you's" and "goodbye's," BamBam drew laughters when he told the fan:

"I don't know how to (end) this, can... can you leave?"

The idol confessed he didn't know how to remove the fan from the conversation; thus, asking her to leave herself!

Fortunately, the Ahgase was really understanding and told him she can do it.

Even after the broadcast ended, the guilt seems to linger in BamBam, and the plot twist? He decided to look for the fan on Twitter!

"Sorry for the "can you leave?" I really don't know how to do it

if you have a Twitter please show your self here."

After 20 minutes, the fan appeared and replied:

"Hi, it's me. It's all good."

As if it's not enough that the male idol personally looked for her, the lucky fan got another response from BamBam that sent the fandom into a frenzy. BamBam called her "my love" as well!

"Thank you, my love. I'll go to Canada as soon as I can."

Such a lucky fan!
