NCT Haechan has been subject to dating rumors after a fanmade video on TikTok suggested that he is dating an American actress.

Haechan has been making headlines in the past weeks due to fans talking about his milestones as a K-pop idol. They recently spoke about his achievements after it was revealed that he already has more than 50 albums.

Aside from his professional career, his personal life became the center of attention as he got linked to an American actress.

Haechan shocked everyone - unknowingly - after a TikTok video that claimed he is dating American actress, Jenna Ortega, went viral.

The video showed a user asking the content creator the random things they want to tell everyone. Some of the statements listed on it include HyunA and Dawn's split, Chuu's reported the solo release, IVE winning Song of the Year award, ATEEZ's overwatch event, "Alice in Wonderland" (sic) Season 2, "All of Us Are Dead" season 2, as well as MOMOLAND and GWSN's comeback.

The same clip claimed that Haechan and Jenna Ortega are dating, sparking "baseless" rumors online.

The buzz spread like wildfire and already caused the video to reach nearly 100,000 likes. Fans immediately expressed their shock by leaving comments on the post. They called out the user who posted the video for including that topic out of the blue.

Some also took their disbelief on Twitter and asked everyone to stop spreading rumors. Among the comments read:

"why are people saying that haechan and jenna ortega are dating ???"

"how does one even come up with a haechan and jenna ortega rumor?? picked two names out of a bag."

"someone said jenna ortega and haechan were dating on tiktok and i full on laughed."

"tiktok stans have lost their minds cuz wdym haechan has a dating rumor with jenna ortega they really just pulled that out of a hat."

NCT Haechan and Jenna Ortega have not responded to it yet, but it was not the first time the K-pop idol sparked dating rumors.

NCT Haechan Previously Linked to ITZY Member

Before the "Wednesday" actress' name got mentioned along with Haechan's, the NCT member dealt with dating rumors with ITZY member, Ryujin.

The buzz started in 2021 and continued to appear this year. Haechan held a VLIVE session at that time and accidentally exposed his iPad's screen to his viewers. Eagle-eyed fans saw that he was only following NCT and ITZY's channels.

Internet sleuths began looking for "hints" and found that Haechan and Ryujin have several "couple items," including phone cases and Bluetooth headphones.

In addition, both K-pop idols' Bubble accounts used the way to type "sleep tight" in Korean. They also spotted Ryujin wearing a Tiffany & Co. necklace a month after Haechan was spotted visiting the same store.

This, like the newest dating rumors, should be taken with a grain of salt, though, as neither the artists ever confirmed it.
