On Dec. 5, YouTube revealed the list of top 10 most-viewed Korean MVs and videos in Korea this 2022 on its platform. Keep reading to know which videos made it to the list.

10 Most Viewed Korean MVs on YouTube Korea in 2022: PSY's "That That," (G)I-DLE's "TOMBOY," More

The list only comprises music videos that were released on YouTube in 2022, and only views by YouTube users in Korea are counted toward the list. The data were gathered from January 1 to Oct. 30.

The most-viewed Korena music video (MV) this 2022 is for a song by trot singer Lim Young Woong, titled "If We Ever Meet Again." This track is the lead single in Lim's first studio album "IM HERO,"  which previously won Album of the Year at the 2022 Melon Music Awards.

The No. 2 spot on the list is occupied by PSY's "That That" (prod. & feat. BTS Suga), which is the title track of his ninth studio album "PSY 9th." As of the week Nov. 25 to Dec. 1, the music video for "That That" has stayed on YouTube Korea Top Music Videos chart for 31 weeks.

BIGBANG's "Still Life" is the third most-viewed Korean MV on YouTube Korea this 2022, proving the boy group's unchanging popularity in their home country. On YouTube Korea's weekly chart of Top Artists (Nov. 25 to Dec. 1), BIGBANG ranked 30th with 2.34 million streams, marking their 324th week on the tally.

The Korean MV with the fourth-highest number of views this year is (G)I-DLE's "TOMBOY," the title track to their recent album "I Never Die." On YouTube Korea's weekly Top Music Videos chart (Nov. 25 to Dec. 1), "TOMBOY" claimed No. 28 with 182,000 views in its 38th week on the list.

Lim Young Woong has another entry in the top five, which is the music video for "Our Blues, Our Life," another song off of his studio album "IM HERO."

The other most-viewed Korean MVs on YouTube Korea in 2022 are (6) BLACKPINK's "Pink Venom," (7) IVE's "After LIKE," (8) GOT the beat's "Step Back" stage video, (9) IVE's "LOVE DIVE," and (10) Lim Young Woong's "Rainbow."

10 Most Viewed Korean Videos on YouTube Korea in 2022

On the list of the top 10 most-viewed Korean videos on YouTube Korea overall, a few of them feature K-pop idols.

In particular, SNSD Taeyeon's "Killing Voice Live" came in at No. 2, while NewJeans' August 5 "Music Bank" performance of "Attention" secured No. 3. The fourth spot is claimed by Lee Young Ji's drunk interview with ITZY Chaeryeong.

Meanwhile, the viral "soulless rap" of a now-popular cast member at the Korean amusement park Everland took first place on the list, while No. 5 is taken by Short Box's comedy sketch "Should we just go to a motel?."

The sixth most-viewed Korean video on YouTube Korea this 2022 is a Korean Englishman's video titled "Son Heung Min introduces the best Korean BBQ to Spurs players." At No. 7 is Kim Jong Kook's YouTube channel video "Finally, Yoo Jae Suk visits GYM Jong Kook," while Kang Min Kyung's YouTube video "Davichi's big sister's wedding day" ranked No. 8.

Sitting at No. 9 is STUDIO WAFFLE's "What talk? You just get 5 mil impersonations on Joo Hyun Young Special," and rounding out the list at No. 10 is "Meenoi's Yorizori Season2 EP.5 BE'O."
